Switching between Public URL, Existing Page Attachment and New File Upload deliberately clears the previous source.

Pick the new source again. Avoid flipping the mode if you only meant to adjust display options.

Changing "Types of file" clears the configured source, and the display options disappear until a new one is chosen.
