Repair diagram versions
Migrated draw.io diagrams that display their oldest content instead of their newest.
Find it under Repair, then the "Repair diagram versions" card. Log only..
#What it changes
Rewrites only which version of the diagram the macro points at, moving it to the latest. Nothing about the diagram content, its title or the rest of the page is touched. Writes a new page version labelled as a version-pin repair.
#What to know before running it
Requires a downloaded run log and has no page-ID entry point, unlike the other two diagram tools. It only touches macros that carry the migration's own stamp, so a diagram anyone has re-saved by hand is left alone. It recognises candidates by matching the exact wording in the log, so a log produced by a different app version may yield no candidates and show "Nothing for this tool in your log". It offers a visual preview: a side-by-side render of what the page shows now against what it will show, with the source and version history.
Every write is a new page version with its own version message, so the repair itself is visible in page history and can be undone from there.
#A few things that catch people out
Bulk operation stays locked until you have fixed and checked one page by hand.
It only looks at the pages you hand it. It never sweeps the site.
Cancel stops the queue between pages; anything already in flight still writes.
