Embed a Miro board in Confluence
To embed a Miro board in Confluence, copy the board's link from Miro and paste it on its own line in the editor: it turns into the Miro Board macro and shows the live board straight away. Or insert the macro, connect Miro and pick the board from Your boards. Readers see the board if Miro's sharing lets them.
#Before you start
You need | Why |
|---|---|
Permission to edit the page | The macro is added in the editor. |
The board's link, or a Miro connection | Pasting a link needs no connection. Picking from Your boards does. |
Board sharing that suits your readers | Miro decides who can open the board. Readers without access see Miro's sign-in or no-access screen. |
#Steps
In Miro, open the board and copy its link, for example
https://miro.com/app/board/....Edit the Confluence page and paste the link on an empty line. It becomes the Miro Board macro.
To pick instead, type /Miro, choose Miro Board, select Connect Miro if asked, and choose a board under Your boards.
Optionally choose a Display mode and set Width and Height.
Publish the page.
#What happens next
The live board appears on the page. Readers click once on it to start panning and zooming, so scrolling the page is not captured. Changes made in Miro show up straight away; there is nothing to refresh.
The board also appears on the space's Miro page under Space boards. See Find the Miro boards used in a Confluence space.
#If it does not work
Readers see a Miro sign-in or "you don't have access": change the board's sharing in Miro. See this troubleshooting page.
A board you just created is missing from Your boards: Miro takes a few seconds to index new boards. See this troubleshooting page.
The macro is an empty box: see Macro shows an empty box.
