#Worth knowing
Board previews and board names behave differently: previews are derived from the board id and work without a connection, but names need a Miro call, so an unconnected viewer sees real thumbnails labelled with the board link instead of its title.
A card's share badge reports the widest of link, team and organisation access - not the headline setting alone. On Miro Free, team access defaults to edit, so a board that reads "private" may in fact be editable by the whole team, and the badge says so. If Miro reports no policy the badge says "Sharing unknown" rather than guessing.
Whether you personally can change a board's sharing cannot be answered from Miro's API (it depends on a paid seat, and nothing distinguishes a member from a guest), so the app treats it as unknown and errs toward showing controls - though it no longer exposes any sharing change at all.
Board search results are relevance-ordered and cannot be sorted, so the sort control hides while you are searching. Newly created boards take a few seconds for Miro to index.
Board sharing is read live from Miro and never cached in the macro, so a disconnected or anonymous viewer sees no sharing badge, and someone who pasted a URL for a board in a team they have not connected cannot see its sharing or members at all.
Miro's own error wording is shown as-is where Miro provides one. Only three cases have Capable wording: "Miro refused this request..." (403), "That board no longer exists..." (404) and "Miro is rate limiting us. Try again in a minute." (429).
