What you are seeing

The whole panel or global page is replaced by a yellow 'License Not Found' or red 'License expired' card.

#Why it happens

Licensing is enabled in production and the site has no active licence, or the licence or trial has expired.

Renew or activate the licence in Jira > Apps > Manage apps. Existing .md files remain downloadable from Jira's own attachment list in the meantime.
