Page field
A Page field is specifically designed to collect a reference to one or more Confluence pages.
#Overview
Page fields let users search for and pick pages from the site, making them ideal when a form or workflow needs to point at specific content — for review, approval, linking, or reporting.

#Use cases
Typical use cases include:
Selecting a page to be reviewed or approved
Linking a request to related documentation or policy
Referencing source material or evidence
Capturing the parent or destination page for new content
Pointing reports or audits at specific pages
#Configuration
You have the following options available when using the page input macro:

Setting | Recommendation | Notes |
|---|---|---|
ID | Use a stable, meaningful internal identifier. | Avoid renaming once the field is used in filters, reports, or templates. |
Label | Use clear user-facing wording. | For example: Page for approval, Related document, or Source page. |
Required | Enable only when a page must be selected. | If enabled, the form cannot be submitted without at least one page selected. |
Multiple selection | Enable when more than one page can be chosen. | Use when a request can reference several related pages. Leave disabled when a single page is expected. |
