Disconnect a Jira project from Attio

To disconnect a Jira project from Attio, open the project's Attio settings, go to Connection, select Reset to defaults and confirm with Yes, erase this project's Attio setup. That removes the key and every Attio setting, takes the card off every issue and switches off any customer portal panel. Then revoke the key in Attio, which the reset does not touch.

#Before you start

  • You are a project administrator.

  • Decide whether you want to disconnect, or only replace the key. To replace it, paste the new key on Connection and select Test and save this key instead; every other setting is kept.

#Steps

  1. Open the project's Project settings, Apps, Attio.

  2. Go to the Connection tab.

  3. Select Reset to defaults at the bottom.

  4. Select Yes, erase this project's Attio setup, or Keep my settings to back out.

  5. In Attio, revoke the key under Workspace settings, Developers.

#What happens next

The card comes off every issue in the project and the settings page goes back to the setup wizard. A project administrator opening an issue sees This project is not connected to an Attio workspace yet.; everyone else sees nothing. Nothing in Attio is changed or deleted.

#If it does not work

  • The card is still visible on an issue that was already open: reload the issue.

  • You only wanted to stop the card in one place: turn that placement off on Placement instead of resetting.

One button, the whole setup. Aim it deliberately.
