Resize a Power BI report in Confluence
To resize a Power BI report in Confluence, open the Power BI macro's configuration and set Height and Width. Height defaults to 450px and is the one you usually need to raise, because a taller report is cut off rather than scrolled. Width defaults to 100% and can be narrower than the page column but never wider.
#Before you start
You can edit the page, and the macro already shows the report.
Know roughly how tall the report page is in Power BI. A typical 16:9 report page needs about 56% of its width in height.
#Steps
Edit the page, select the Power BI macro and open its configuration.
Type a new Height, for example
700px. A bare number such as700is read as pixels. If you want it narrower than the column, type a Width such as
800pxor60%.Watch the preview, adjust until the whole report shows, then publish the page.
#What happens next
The frame takes the new size. It never grows past the page column, and it is never shorter than 200 pixels. The frame itself does not scroll: Power BI handles any scrolling inside the report.
#If it does not work
The report still fills the column after setting a pixel width: the value is wider than the column, so it is capped. See Pixel width was set on the macro but the report still fills the whole column.
The bottom of the report is cut off: raise Height. See Report is cut off or too short.
For a better fit, set the report's page view in Power BI to Fit to width before you copy the link.
