Embed a Microsoft Fabric report in Confluence
To embed a Microsoft Fabric report in Confluence, copy the report's embed link from Fabric, which starts https://app.fabric.microsoft.com/, and paste it into the page or into the Power BI macro. Fabric links are accepted exactly like Power BI links, as long as they are embed links rather than the address of the page you are browsing.
#Before you start
You can edit the page.
The link is an embed link: its path is
/reportEmbedwith areportId, or/viewwith anrvalue.Readers have access to the report in Fabric, unless it is published to the web.
#Steps
In Fabric, open the report and use File, Embed report to copy its embed link or iframe code.
Edit the Confluence page and paste the link on an empty line. It becomes the Power BI macro.
Or insert Power BI and paste the link or iframe code into Embed URL, iframe code, or report ID.
Check the preview and publish the page.
Do not paste only the report ID for a Fabric report. A bare report ID is always turned into an app.powerbi.com link, never a Fabric one. Paste the full link instead.
#What happens next
The Fabric report appears on the page and behaves exactly like a Power BI report: live, interactive, and visible only to readers Fabric lets in.
#If it does not work
The macro says Power BI not configured: the link was copied from the browser address bar. Use Embed report. See Get a Power BI embed link for Confluence.
Readers see a sign-in screen: see Fix a blank Power BI report in Confluence.
#Related
Fabric or Power BI, the same on the page.
