Every product has a shape people expect it to have, and this is where this one differs from that shape. Nothing here is coming in a particular release; it is simply not offered today.

The page exists so you can plan around it rather than spending an afternoon looking for a switch.

#Not available

  • AI chat about a diagram ("Ask AI about this diagram"). The code. JiraDiagramChatOverlay, the websocket request/reply plumbing and the BPMN-simplify helper. Is built and bundled, but the button is unreachable because no ForgeWebSocketProvider exists above the hook that gates it; the context defaults to empty so the readiness flag is never true.

  • Admin, project or site settings screens of any kind.

  • Diagram library on/off admin toggles (disabledLibraries).

  • Customer-managed egress domain management.

  • Self-hosted (customer-run) Kroki diagram renderer. Disabled product-wide by a kill switch , and the only UI for it is the Confluence-only admin card. No Jira site can point diagram rendering at its own server.

  • Download / export controls. The renderer is always called with download: false and no download affordance is rendered . The released help catalogue still advertises a "How to download diagrams" article that has no matching UI .

  • JiraDiagramsCatalogue .

  • CreateCalculateDiagramIndexWrapper.

  • A second, divergent copy of the extension map that nothing imports.

  • Jira Capable content indexing routes JIRA_PAGE_HOME_ROUTE, JIRA_WIDGET_PAGE_ROUTE, JIRA_ISSUE_PANEL_ROUTE, JIRA_ISSUE_SCRIPT_ROUTE and JIRA_DASHBOARD_SCRIPT_ROUTE.

  • The 'Capable content indexing.welcome' Getting-started dashboard widget.

  • Web trigger.

  • IsPinnable: true on the Jira diagrams client capability. The flag is only consumed by Confluence capability metadata and has no effect in the Jira app.

  • No code anywhere reads either flag.

  • OAuth or external provider connections.

  • Confluence-only diagram features generally: the diagram macros, the diagram admin settings tab and its library toggles, the space/link graph macros, shape libraries, diagram history and versions, confluence:spaceSettings, and the draw.io migration tooling.

#A few things worth knowing

  • If one of these is the reason you are evaluating the product, say so before you buy rather than after.

  • The list changes with each release, so check the release notes before assuming it still applies.

  • Where the app's own wording differs from this page, believe the app.

Better to know now than hunt for a switch.
