Migrate from Approvals for Confluence
You can migrate from Approvals for Confluence to Capable.
#Page Approval
The migrator transfers your existing page-level approval data from the AppFox Approvals app to Capable Approval. This includes:
Approval status - pending, approved, or rejected states are preserved
Approvers list - all assigned approvers and their individual statuses are carried over
Expiry settings - both date-based and interval-based expiry configurations are migrated
Quorum requirements - minimum approver thresholds are preserved
History - approval events and comments are migrated to Capable's history format
Follow the instructions on Using the migration assistant to run the migrator.
#What the migrator does
Fetches existing approval data from Confluence page properties via the API
Maps AppFox data structures (approval status, approvers, expiry, history) to the Capable Approval format
Creates or updates the Capable Approval entity for each page
Validates that the user running the migration has space admin permissions
