Can I use PDF Embed for Confluence to embed any PDF?

Yes. The PDF app will embed any pdf published at a publicly available URL or attached file.

If you encounter any problems embedding a PDF, please check if the file has any restriction, i.e. password protection.

Is there any limit to the size of PDF files that can be embedded?

PDF’s attached to pages should render up to any reasonable size for a file, however, we recommend files under 10 MB be handled when being served from a URL.

Can I use PDF Embed for Confluence to upload PDF files from my local disk?

Yes, you can upload PDF’s using the app and they will automatically be attached to the Confluence page.

If the URL for an embedded file disappears, will the embedded PDF also disappear from Confluence?

Yes, if you want to keep the PDF file visible even after the website goes offline, pleases upload as an attachment.
