#What happened
Capable apps that rely on Confluence content search were affected by intermittent failures in that search. Anything that finds pages by query, and that is a lot of this product, could return incomplete results or none at all.
As with the user search incident in the same month, the failures were intermittent, so a repeated query often succeeded.

Macros that list or find pages showing fewer results than expected, or none
Calendars appearing empty when they contain events
The same view being correct on a refresh

No content was changed or lost. Search reads content; it does not write it.
#Resolution
Refreshing usually returned correct results. The platform issue was resolved by Atlassian.
