# Connect Smartsheet to Confluence

To connect Smartsheet to Confluence, select **Log in to Smartsheet** in the Smartsheet macro's configuration or on the space's **Smartsheet** page, and approve the app in Smartsheet. Each person has one connection of their own. You need a Smartsheet Business or Enterprise plan, because the app uses Smartsheet's API.

## Steps

1. Edit a page and open a Smartsheet macro's configuration, or open the space's **Smartsheet** page from the sidebar.
2. Select **Log in to Smartsheet**.
3. Sign in to Smartsheet in the window that opens and allow access.
4. Return to Confluence. **Your sheets** fills with your sheets.

## What happens next

Your connection is used when you configure the macro. Readers use their own connection to see an interactive table, unless you set up viewer access.
