# Renaming one page changed the URL of a different page too

**What you are seeing**

Renaming one page changed the URL of a different page too.

## Why it happens

When two pages in a space have the same title, BOTH get the page ID appended to their file names. Fixing the clash removes the suffix from both.

Set explicit slugs in the Page metadata panel for pages whose addresses must be stable.
