# Deleted a page in Confluence and it is still on the live site

**What you are seeing**

I deleted a page in Confluence and it is still on the live site.

## Why it happens

The same change counter only finds pages that were modified, never pages that were deleted or moved.

## What to do

Run an Update and Promote. Promote deletes live files the new build does not contain, so the page disappears then.
