**What you are seeing**

Adding a domain fails with "Domain is already in use on another CloudFront distribution".

## Why it happens

A domain can only be attached to one CloudFront distribution across all of AWS, and an old distribution of yours still claims it.

## What to do

Find the distribution in every AWS account you own, remove the alias or delete the distribution, wait about 5 minutes, then press Retry.
