# Release Notes

New features and improvements in Search for Confluence, newest first.

## 2026

### Oct 18, 2026 (8.40.0)

* Set a page status from the Info panel in the sidebar, even when the page has no status yet.
* Search tables size columns to their content and keep column widths you set when new results load.
* The title column stays pinned only when the table is too wide to fit, and headers stay solid while scrolling.
* Result ranges and numbers use your locale's format, for example 1,001-1,025 of 3,400.

### Oct 12, 2026 (8.39.0)

* Picking a CQL value with several words replaces the whole value, not just the word at the cursor.
* Matching values appear above AND and OR in CQL suggestions.

### Aug 19, 2026 (8.37.0)

* Anonymous and unlicensed visitors reading public pages can now see the app's macros and pages.

### Aug 2, 2026 (8.36.0)

* Write CQL faster with live autocomplete for fields, operators and values, plus inline syntax hints.
* Choose who can edit each saved search individually, rather than all-or-nothing across the app.

### Mar 2, 2026 (8.21.0)

* Saved searches remember their column order and widths, so your layout stays as you set it.

### Feb 11, 2026 (8.16.0)

* The app is renamed from Explorer for Confluence to Content Manager for Confluence.

### Feb 3, 2026 (8.15.0)

### Jan 15, 2026 (8.4.0)

* Export search results to Excel.
