# Quality item missing from the page byline in the Capable Suite

**What you are seeing**

The **Quality** item does not appear in the byline of pages, in the Capable Suite.

## Why it happens

In the Capable Suite the Quality item appears on every page you can view, on the Advanced edition, unless a setting hides it:

| You are signed in to Confluence and can view the page   | Confluence page and space permissions                                                                         |
| Quality is **Visible** for the site                     | Capable global settings, **Capabilities** tab. Confluence admins only.                                        |
| The space is not set to **Never** for Quality           | Space settings, **Space Capability Settings**. **Auto** and **Always** both show the item. Space admins only. |
| Capable Suite only: the site is on the Advanced edition | Your Capable Suite licence                                                                                    |

A space no longer has to be set to **Always**. Earlier versions showed the item only in spaces set to **Always**, so it was missing almost everywhere. **Auto**, the default, now shows it.

## What to do

1. Make sure you are signed in and can view the page.
2. In Capable global settings, on the **Capabilities** tab, check that Quality is **Visible**. A Confluence admin can change it.
3. In the space's **Space Capability Settings**, check that Quality is **Auto** or **Always**, not **Never**. A space admin can change it.
4. Check that your Capable Suite licence is the Advanced edition. Quality is not part of Standard.
5. Reload the page.
