# In the standalone Capable Quality app, the Quality item never appears on any page byline, no matter

**What you are seeing**

In the standalone Capable Quality app, the Quality item never appears on any page byline, no matter what permissions or settings are used.

## Why it happens

The byline's display condition requires a content property that nothing in the app ever writes. Quality data is stored on the shared Capable index property instead. The condition can never be satisfied.

## What to do

Use the Quality side panel in Capable Search to review and fix issues on a specific page. This is the only per-page surface available in the standalone app. In the Capable Suite the byline works, subject to the edition and space settings below.

## A few things that catch people out

* On a space-scoped Quality page, "Issues over time" still shows site-wide numbers even though the header names the space.
* The inappropriate-language fix deletes the matched words rather than masking them, and both language fixes rewrite the page and save a new version immediately with no preview and no undo inside Quality. Recovery is Confluence page history.
