# Capable content indexing

Everything except the byline lozenge depends on it. Quality tags are written to the page's shared Capable index property, and every tag-based count, badge, list and chart requires the page to have been indexed. Not-yet-indexed pages are invisible to Quality.

## Worth knowing

* The weekly sweep skips spaces whose content has not changed since the last completed run, drops spaces with zero pages from the rollup, and silently skips a space that errors. None of which is surfaced to the user.
* Stale content sits under the "Content & Structure" category, not "Compliance" with the other list-driven rules.
* Navigation labels and page headings differ: "Dashboard" opens a page headed "Reports", and "Rules" opens a page headed "Quality Rules". The product is named three ways in the app: "Quality", "Capable Quality" and "Content Quality".
* The weekly sweep is the app's most expensive recurring job. Roughly 16 count queries per space, a full rollup rewrite at each 250-space checkpoint. And it shares the app's single background queue with content indexing.
* Queries using those fields return no rows.
