# Pressed "Save without rebuild" and my published pages moved anyway

**What you are seeing**

I pressed "Save without rebuild" and my published pages moved anyway.

## Why it happens

The server starts a rebuild whenever the saved settings change the hierarchy mode, parent page, homepage inclusion or target space on an already-enabled space, regardless of which dialog button was pressed.

## What to do

Treat any Structure or Target change on an enabled space as triggering a rebuild, and time it accordingly. This is a known defect. The button does not do what it says.
