# Page statuses

Published; Outdated ("Page has been published but is out of date") when the source page is edited; Out of sync ("Page has been published but is out of sync") when the target page is edited by someone else; Moved when the source page is given a different parent; Failed; Missing target; Missing source; Unpublished; Unpublishable. Moving a source page back to its original parent clears Moved back to Published. An edit to the target page is only treated as Out of sync after the app re-checks the target and confirms the version really changed. A version and timestamp match within 5 minutes is recognised as the app's own write and stays Published.

A status shows in the page byline as well as in the panel, so a page whose copy has been edited elsewhere is visible without opening anything.
