# Page I just published is missing from the Published list, or the dashboard counts look wrong

**What you are seeing**

A page I just published is missing from the Published list, or the dashboard counts look wrong.

## Why it happens

Every list, count and bulk selection is a search-index query, not live data. Confluence takes time to index the publish record.

## What to do

Wait for Confluence to re-index and refresh. The page byline shows the true, live state in the meantime, and warns "Content not yet indexed. Data may be unreliable until indexed" while the index is behind.
