# Everything else

Start from what you are seeing rather than from what you think is broken. Each page below names the symptom, explains why it happens, and says what to do about it.

Several of these are the product working as designed, which is worth knowing before anybody raises a ticket.

| Target space homepage was replaced by one of my source pages                          | "Include homepage" is set, which publishes the source space homepage over the target space's own homepage.                                                                                     |
| Page keeps flipping to "Out of sync"                                                  | Somebody is editing the published copy directly in the target space. (An edit made by the app itself within 5 minutes of its own write is recognised and does not count.).                     |
| Want a draft area and a validated area inside the same space                          | Publishing to the same space is deliberately blocked in three places. The picker leaves the current space out, the settings refuse it and the server rejects it.                               |
