# Am a space administrator of the source space, but the Publish button is still hidden and the space p

**What you are seeing**

I am a space administrator of the source space, but the Publish button is still hidden and the space page says I lack rights.

## Why it happens

The byline's administrator fallback checks whether you administer the TARGET space, while the server checks whether you administer the SOURCE space. A source-space administrator who is not a target-space administrator sees the button hidden even though the publish would have been allowed.

## What to do

Get space administrator rights on the target space as well, or add yourself to Allowed publishers. Report the mismatch to support. It is a known inconsistency between the button and the server.

## A few things that catch people out

* Bulk selection and Full Sync are capped at 1000 items per run, and a bulk job chain is abandoned past 10,000 items, 50 continuations or about 25 minutes. With nothing in the app telling the administrator the run was truncated and no documented resume procedure. Large spaces need repeated runs.
* Cleanup and rebuild stop after 100 pages of 1000 results (about 100,000 items) and only log a warning, so very large spaces are partly processed.
* A source-space administrator can only configure a target space they do not administer if somebody else already set that target; the settings screen then shows a note and refuses to save a changed target.
