# Paste a link, get a report

Pasting a Power BI link into the editor inserts and configures the macro for you.

Pasting the link on its own line inserts the macro and loads the report without anyone opening the configuration panel.

## Worth knowing

* Auto-convert on paste stores nothing in the macro configuration at first; the macro has to write the link into its own config on first render. Until that happens the configuration panel looks empty.
* The frame never scrolls itself (scrolling is off); Power BI handles its own scrolling. A report taller than the configured height is clipped.
* A click-to-interact overlay swallows the first click on the report. This is intentional so that page scrolling is not captured by the embed.
* The macro is declared as available to unlicensed and anonymous Confluence readers. The frame will render for them, but the report only appears if Power BI itself lets them see it.
