**What you are seeing**

A link was pasted into the editor, the macro appeared, but it shows the not-configured empty state and the config panel is blank.

## Why it happens

When Confluence auto-converts a pasted link it does not write anything into the macro's configuration. The link arrives separately, and the macro has to save it itself on first render. If that first save did not complete, nothing was stored.

## What to do

Open the macro's configuration and paste the link into the embed field by hand, then save and publish. That writes the value directly.
