# Slider and Scroller layouts

Slider shows one page at a time with previous/next and a page-number box and enables Initial Page. Scroller shows every page in one scrolling column and enables Height instead.

Scroller drops those page controls and leaves zoom, download and fullscreen, because the reader moves through the document by scrolling.

## Worth knowing

* Scroller layout has no page navigation whatsoever, and Initial Page is ignored in it.
* Pop-out and fullscreen open at the reader's current page, not the configured Initial Page, and they ignore the Scroller Height limit.
* In a published Capable Site the viewer is reduced to zoom, Slider page navigation and Download. No pop-out, no fullscreen, no selectable text regardless of the Render Text Layer setting.
