# Show all pages of a PDF in Confluence To show all pages of a PDF in Confluence, set **Viewer Options** to **Scroller** in the **PDF embed (Capable)** macro. The pages then run one under another and readers scroll through them. Use **Height** to choose how many pages fit in the viewer before it scrolls; the default is one. --- ## Before you start * You can edit the page, and the macro already has a PDF. * Scroller suits short documents read end to end. For a long manual, **Slider** (one page at a time) is easier to navigate. --- ## Steps 1. Edit the page, select the PDF embed macro and open its configuration. 2. Set **Viewer Options** to **Scroller**. 3. Choose a number under **Height**: the number of pages shown without scrolling. 4. Close the configuration window and publish the page. --- ## What happens next The viewer shows the pages stacked, with zoom buttons in the toolbar. There are no previous and next buttons and no page box in this layout, and **Initial Page** is not used. --- ## If it does not work * **Height** only offers **1**: the list fills in once the preview has counted the pages. Wait for the preview. See [Height dropdown only offers "1"](https://help.gocapable.com/pdf-embed/height-dropdown-only-offers-1.html). * You want to start on a particular page: switch back to **Slider**. See [Open a PDF at a specific page in Confluence](https://help.gocapable.com/pdf-embed/open-a-pdf-at-a-specific-page-in-confluence.html). --- ## Related ### [Slider and Scroller layouts](https://help.gocapable.com/pdf-embed/slider-and-scroller-layouts.html) The two layouts compared. ### [PDF embed](https://help.gocapable.com/pdf-embed/pdf-embed.html) Every setting of the macro. ### [Zoom, including pinch](https://help.gocapable.com/pdf-embed/zoom-including-pinch.html) Zoom from 20% to 200%. --- _The whole document, one scroll._
