# Space boards scan

Finds Miro macros on pages in the current space using a Confluence search, with no Miro connection required. Each card shows an "on N pages" chip listing the pages that embed that board. Thumbnails work without a connection; board names need one.

## Worth knowing

* The whole Miro surface is read-only. There is no "update sharing" control and no invite flow - the only Miro write was removed so the proxy could be read-only and the app could drop Miro's boards:write permission. Change sharing in Miro itself.
* The "Space boards" scan is limited to the current space and capped (250 pages, 1000 macro instances), so a very large space reports a partial picture. Opened outside a space it is disabled with "Page usage is only available on a space page.".
* Board names on the "Space boards" tab are resolved at most 30 at a time and only for a connected user. A board in a team you have not connected simply shows its link and the label "Embedded board" - that is the correct answer, not an error.
* Board search results are relevance-ordered and cannot be sorted, so the sort control hides while you are searching. Newly created boards take a few seconds for Miro to index.
