# Something is missing or looks wrong

Start from what you are seeing rather than from what you think is broken. Each page below names the symptom, explains why it happens, and says what to do about it.

Several of these are the product working as designed, which is worth knowing before anybody raises a ticket.

| Macro shows an empty box - no board appears                                 | The Board URL is not a miro.com address. Confluence only permits framing miro.com, so anything else is blocked silently rather than reported as an error. |
| Space boards tab is missing boards, or the "on N pages" count looks too low | The scan is capped at 250 pages and 1000 macro instances per space.                                                                                       |
| Board I just created in Miro does not show in the picker                    | Miro takes a few seconds to index newly created boards.                                                                                                   |
| Board is missing from a PDF or Word export, or from a published site        | There is no export renderer for Miro; the board is a live third-party frame.                                                                              |
