## Why it happens

Embedding does not grant access. The board itself is not shared with those people in Miro.

## What to do

Open the board in Miro and widen its sharing (link access, team access, or invite the people directly). Nothing in Confluence can change this. You can check the current state under "Who can open this board" while connected.

## A few things that catch people out

* "People with access" can never show email addresses or avatars, on any Miro plan, and roles are informational only. Miro does not return member emails to apps, and the invite and role-change features were removed along with the Confluence email-address permission.
