# Miro Embed settings

Miro Embed is configured from the shared Capable settings surfaces rather than a tab of its own in every case. This is the complete list.

## Every setting

| Connect Miro                           | Per user     | Starts the Miro authorisation in a new browser tab (OAuth providers block sign-in inside an iframe). The app then polls its own status every 2.5 seconds while the consent tab is open, and re-checks whenever you return to |
| Switch team                            | Per user     | Re-runs the authorisation and replaces the stored connection, because a Miro token belongs to exactly one Miro team. The app watches for the team to change for up to 60 seconds.                                            |
| Disconnect                             | Per user     | Deletes your stored Miro token on Capable's server. Board browsing, sharing and people sections stop working; boards already embedded on pages keep rendering.                                                               |
| Open Miro                              | Per user     | Opens https://miro.com/app/dashboard/ in a new tab from the gallery's connection chip.                                                                                                                                       |

## A few things worth knowing

* Settings changes can take a minute to reach other people.
* Hiding a capability removes it from the navigation; macros already on pages keep rendering.
* Some settings are per space and need only a space administrator.
