# Everything else Start from what you are seeing rather than from what you think is broken. Each page below names the symptom, explains why it happens, and says what to do about it. Several of these are the product working as designed, which is worth knowing before anybody raises a ticket. --- ## At a glance | **Symptom** | **Usually because** | | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Board does not react to the mouse until I click it | A "Click to interact" overlay sits over every embed so the board does not swallow page scrolling. | | Set a Width bigger than the page and nothing changed. Or I set a tiny Height and it stayed the same | The embed always applies max-width 100% and a 200px minimum height. | | "Selected board" summary lost the board's name after I edited the URL | Typing in the Board URL field clears the stored board id and name, because they might no longer match. | | Gallery says "Page usage is only available on a space page." | The scan is space-scoped and you have opened the gallery outside a space. | | Cards in Space boards are labelled "Embedded board" instead of the board's title | Board names need a Miro connection, are fetched at most 30 at a time, and cannot be fetched at all for a board in a Miro team you have not connected. | | "Switch team" appears to do nothing - the same team is still connected | If you still have a Miro browser session, Miro re-approves the current team without showing the team chooser. | | "Your Miro connection has expired" | The stored Miro token was revoked or has expired, so Miro rejected the call. | | "Miro status unavailable" or "Could not check your Miro connection" - and no Connect button | The connection check itself failed (network or service problem). The app deliberately will not claim you are disconnected unless it knows you are. | | "Miro is rate limiting us. Try again in a minute." | Miro is throttling requests. | | "Miro refused this request" or "That board no longer exists" | Miro answered 403 (your Miro account is not allowed to see it) or 404 (the board was deleted or moved). | | Sort control disappeared when I searched for a board | Miro ignores sorting whenever a search query is present, so the control is hidden rather than left there doing nothing. | | Gallery card shows abstract artwork instead of a board preview | | | There is no way to change board sharing or invite people from inside Confluence | The app is read-only by design: the only Miro write was removed so the proxy could be locked down and the app could drop Miro's write permission. | | People list shows no email addresses or avatars | Miro does not return member emails to apps, on any plan, and the invite and role-change features were removed along with the Confluence email-address permission. | --- ## In this section [Board does not react to the mouse until I click it](https://help.gocapable.com/miro/board-does-not-react-to-the-mouse-until-i-click-it.html)[Set a Width bigger than the page and nothing changed.
