# Pages I expected are missing from the log

**What you are seeing**

Pages I expected to be migrated do not appear in the log at all.

## Why it happens

Pages the search returned without resolvable space information are dropped from the run entirely. They are counted only in the small "N pages skipped, no space metadata returned by search" line and never get a log row.

## What to do

Compare the skipped count against your expectations, and re-run, often a second pass resolves them. There is currently no way to find out which specific pages those were.
