# An old log shows panel failures on pages that saved correctly

**What you are seeing**

An old log shows a large number of panel failures on pages that actually saved correctly.

## Why it happens

A second known, since-fixed false-failure class: Confluence's page save could return an opaque error while still persisting the page, and the run believed it. The current build re-checks the page and compares version numbers before recording anything as a failure.

## What to do

Treat panel failure counts in older logs with suspicion, and re-run to get an accurate picture.
