# A macro shows zero pages and cannot be ticked

**What you are seeing**

A macro row shows zero pages and cannot be ticked, even though the macro is definitely used.

## Why it happens

A row is only selectable when its count is above zero, and count queries that fail, because the vendor app is not installed, or the search is invalid on this instance, quietly return zero. A genuine query failure looks identical to "this macro is not used here".

## What to do

Clear any search filter and check whether other apps still count normally. If one specific app returns zero across the board, suspect a query failure rather than absent content. For standalone-to-suite Markdown rows, zero is expected: that app has not been released to production yet.
