# Insert (+) menu

Grouped under Image, Diagram and Other. Always present: 'From upload' (image, only when the surface has a page id), 'From web' (a placeholder image URL you then edit) and 'From code' (inserts a \`\`\`mermaid graph TD starter fence). 'From library' for images and for diagrams is contributed by the Images and Diagrams capabilities, so it is Suite only.

## Worth knowing

* A freshly inserted macro can poll for about two and a half minutes before giving up; a freshly created template can take several seconds to list.
