# Table macro

Add advanced capabilities to your Confluence tables.

The advanced table is used to wrap (surround) built-in Confluence tables and extend them with various features:

* Easy filtering and sorting of table rows
* Multi-column sorting (hold shift)
* Number ordering and conditionals (less than, greater than etc.)
* Pagination for larger datasets

To add an advanced table, simply insert the Advanced Table macro into the page and either copy/paste your existing table into the body of the macro, or add a new table inside it using `/table`.
