# What is not available

Every product has a shape people expect it to have, and this is where this one differs from that shape. Nothing here is coming in a particular release; it is simply not offered today.

The page exists so you can plan around it rather than spending an afternoon looking for a switch.

## Not available

* Macros of any kind. If you are expecting the Confluence Markdown macro or Markdown reference macro, they do not exist here. Jira gets the issue panel and the global page instead.
* Jira dashboard gadget for Markdown.
* Any admin, global settings or project settings surface.
* Self-hosted / customer-run diagram renderer. The plumbing exists but is held off by a global kill switch, so every diagram renders through Capable's hosted service. There is no Jira surface to configure it in any case.
* Customer-managed egress domain configuration.
* Space-level and global template galleries. Only the 17 built-in templates are available in Jira; the Confluence space and global galleries are empty in this app.
* Realtime / WebSocket features and AI-assisted Markdown generation.
* Image upload from the editor.
* Export, print or published-site rendering.
* A GitHub browser modal for Jira. The file exists but is empty.
* A server-side index recalculation wrapper.
* Any Jira suite or bundle app. The Capable Suite is Confluence-only; a Jira suite app is listed internally as planned.
* Everything under the Confluence side of the Markdown capability. Macros, byline, catalogue, custom content, reference macro, MCP resources, AI generation, template galleries and migrators.

**None of this is a bug to report.** If one of them blocks you, tell us: customer demand is what moves them.
