**What you are seeing**

An issue shows on the Diagrams browse page but the issue panel and the count badge show nothing (or the reverse).

## Why it happens

Two different definitions of "is this attachment a diagram" are in use. The search index accepts a broader, case-insensitive list , while the panels, the badge and the save path accept only the narrow, case-sensitive canonical extensions.

## What to do

Rename the attachment to a canonical extension (for example .mmd → .mermaid, .puml → .plantuml, .dio → .drawio) so both agree. Uppercase extensions such as .DRAWIO have the opposite problem. Rename them to lowercase.
