**What you are seeing**

The gadget's title or description cannot be set, or a description I expect is never shown.

## Why it happens

Both fields exist in the gadget's stored configuration, but the gadget's edit screen renders only the diagram editor and the Edit/View and Save buttons. There is no title or description input. Description is never rendered even if a value exists.

## What to do

Use a Jira dashboard text or heading gadget alongside the diagram gadget if you need a caption.
