# Image Not a configurable macro at all. It is a self-replacing placeholder: dropping it into the editor immediately opens the Images insert dialog, and once you pick images the server replaces the placeholder with real content. Native Confluence image nodes, or Image reference macros if you choose 'Insert 1. Insert the macro 2. Choose one or many images from your library or from Unsplash 3. Click Insert 4.
