# Image shows 'Sign in to view this image' to logged-out visitors, even though the image exists **What you are seeing** An image shows 'Sign in to view this image' to logged-out visitors, even though the image exists --- ## Why it happens The image is stored as a plain external URL. That is the only source type that needs Capable's token-carrying proxy, and a logged-out reader has no token. Uploaded library files, Unsplash images and Confluence attachments all load directly and keep working for anonymous readers. --- ## What to do Upload the image into the Capable library instead of referencing an external URL. In the Suite, an admin can also approve the domain under Capable settings → Egress, but note that this does not help anonymous readers. The allowlist only applies to signed-in users. --- ## Settings involved | **Setting** | **Where** | **What it does** | | ---------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------- | | Global settings → Capabilities | Confluence admin → Apps → Capable → Settings → Capabilities | \- | | Global settings → Asset access (Permissi | Capable settings → Asset access | \- | | Global settings → Egress | Capable settings → Egress | \- | --- ## Limits that apply here | **Limit** | **Value** | **What happens** | | ------------------------------------------ | ---------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Upload.
