# Folders

A single flat level of folders per library. Create, rename, delete, and drag images between them. All three folder operations are gated on the same permission check as uploading.

Each library keeps its own flat list of folders, so the ones under Space images and the ones under Global images are browsed separately.

## Where you do it

A new folder is named in place at the foot of the folder list, next to the folders already there.

## Worth knowing

* Folders are flat. A folder is always created with the space as its container, so there is no parent-folder field and no sub-folders.
