# Can drag an SVG into the library but the Upload button will not let me choose one

I can drag an SVG into the library but the Upload button will not let me choose one

## Why it happens

The Upload button's file dialog filter and the drag-and-drop accepted list are different. Drag-and-drop accepts svg, ico and jfif; the Upload dialog does not offer them.

## What to do

Drag SVG, ICO and JFIF files onto the library section instead of using the Upload button.

## A few things that catch people out

* The Upload button's file dialog and drag-and-drop accept different formats. The button omits svg, ico and jfif, which the drop overlay allows. An SVG can be dragged in but is not offered by the Browse dialog.
* Nothing in the browser enforces a maximum upload size. An over-large file can be stored successfully yet later fail to load in the editor or through the chat tools, which cap at 3 MB and 5 MB respectively.
