Users you excluded with Allowed groups are still being counted in Google Analytics.

## Why it happens

Allowed groups restricts who can OPEN the reports. It has never restricted who is tracked, and the tracker deliberately keeps working for excluded and anonymous readers.

## What to do

There is no in-Confluence setting that excludes people from tracking. If you need certain traffic excluded, do it with a filter or an exclusion rule inside Google Analytics.
