# See the most viewed pages in a Confluence space

To see the most viewed pages in a Confluence space, open the space, select **Google Analytics** in the space sidebar, and open the **Content** tab. Pick **7d**, **30d** or **90d**, or set your own dates. The table lists the space's pages with their views, and selecting a row opens that page's detail.

---

## Before you start

* An admin has connected Google and chosen a **GA4 property**.
* You are allowed to view reports. See [Choose who can view Google Analytics reports in Confluence](https://help.gocapable.com/google-analytics/choose-who-can-view-google-analytics-reports-in-confluence.html).

---

## Steps

1. Go to the space.
2. In the space sidebar, under **Apps**, select **Google Analytics**.
3. Select the **Content** tab.
4. Choose **7d**, **30d** or **90d** at the top, or type a start and end date.
5. Select a row to see that page's trend, then **Open in Confluence** to go to the page.

📝

To compare spaces, open **Google Analytics** from the Confluence **Apps** menu instead and use the **Spaces** tab. Selecting a space there shows **Top pages in this space**.

---

## What happens next

Use the filters next to the tabs to narrow the list, for example to guests only or to views on a published site. Each filter appears once the custom dimension behind it is synced. For a list that stays on a page, add the [Google Analytics macro](https://help.gocapable.com/google-analytics/add-a-google-analytics-report-to-a-confluence-page.html) with the **Content** view and the space selected.

---

## If it does not work

* The table is empty on a new setup: Google takes up to 48 hours to process new data.
* Some rows have no title: the page was deleted, or you cannot see it in Confluence. Titles are looked up with your own permissions.
