# Choose who can view Google Analytics reports in Confluence To choose who can view Google Analytics reports in Confluence, open the **Google Analytics configuration** page, go to **Reporting**, and under **Who can view reports** pick **Confluence admins only**, **Specific groups** or **All logged-in users**. Then select **Save configuration**. The choice covers every report page, the macro and Page analytics. --- ## Before you start * You are a Confluence administrator. * For **Specific groups**, the Confluence groups already exist. | **Option** | **Who can view reports** | | -------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------ | | **Confluence admins only** | Only site admins. This is the default. | | **Specific groups** | Members of the groups you add, plus site admins. | | **All logged-in users** | Anyone signed in to the site. | --- ## Steps 1. Open Confluence **Settings** and select **Google Analytics**. 2. Go to **Reporting** and find **Who can view reports**. 3. Choose **Confluence admins only**, **Specific groups** or **All logged-in users**. 4. For **Specific groups**, select **Add groups** under **Allowed groups** and pick the groups. 5. Select **Save configuration**. ⚠️ Reports show which people viewed which pages, and the figures are not filtered by each viewer's page permissions. Choose **All logged-in users** only if that is appropriate for your site. --- ## What happens next The change reaches everyone within a few minutes. People outside the audience still see the **Google Analytics** menu entries and the macro, but get **You do not have access to analytics for this site.** instead of figures. This setting controls who can read reports; it never changes who is tracked. --- ## If it does not work * **No groups selected - only Confluence admins can view reports.**: **Specific groups** with an empty list falls back to admins only. Add at least one group. * Someone still cannot see reports: check they are in the group, then give it a few minutes. --- ## Related ### [Google Analytics settings](https://help.gocapable.com/google-analytics/google-analytics-settings.html) Every setting on the configuration page. ### [Permissions and access](https://help.gocapable.com/google-analytics/permissions-and-access.html) Access symptoms and fixes. ### [Turn off Google Analytics reports in Confluence](https://help.gocapable.com/google-analytics/turn-off-google-analytics-reports-in-confluence.html) Switch every report surface off. --- _Your data, seen by the people you choose._
